Yesterday's devastating tornado coming off Lake Huron to Goderich has had everyone talking. Hilary and I visited this pretty town on Canada Day and enjoyed a scenic rest and read on the bluffs looking down at the lake. The downtown roundabout was completely dedicated to a parade and party for our national holiday.
I look on the news at the same spot as of yesterday afternoon. Trees down. Brick walls and glass panels imploded. Cars overturned. Awnings lifted. Roofs collapsed. Large fallen limbs damaging homes everywhere. Debris. I can't remember anything so destructive ever in southwestern Ontario.
